On this day community members came together for the first ever Vaughan Mayor's Prayer Breakfast. The people put aside individual differences and unified in faith and prayer for the city and it’s officials. It was an occasion for allcommunity members, including those who may not regularly
attend a place of worship, to come together in thanksgiving and prayer. It was a time to reflect and offer prayers for divine guidance in the decisions made by our politicians and representatives at all levels of government (Municipal, Provincial & Federal) and for our First Responders and other essential workers whose role is to maintain unity, peace, health, and safety of the community.
This a humanitarian mission as it transcends cultural and nationality boundaries and stood as a light guiding us toward a future where the teachings of love, compassion, and unity remaina constant in an ever-changing society and world.
